A Family Business That Kept Learning New Trades
From a single optical counter on Nala Road, Patna, to hospital medical gas pipelines, railway platforms nationwide, state mega-events, factory floors, and a rooftop coffee house.
Founded on One Decision in 1997
Agrawal Group began in 1997 with one clear conviction: that eyewear in Bihar deserved better than what the market was offering.
Mr. Bajrang Agrawal opened a modest optical counter on Nala Road, Patna, and spent the following decade turning it into a name people trusted with their eyesight. He saw the gap in the state's vision care market long before organized corporate chains entered eastern India.
The second generation widened the map with expansion of optical retail. Under Aayush Agrawal, the group moved into government procurement and medical gas infrastructure, then into events and public communication, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and advisory — each vertical built on capability the group already had, and each one earning its own clients rather than borrowing the last one's.
Today the group runs nine ventures across retail, infrastructure, media and manufacturing, serving state and central government departments, Indian railways, public sector undertakings, hospital and consumers across India.

Mr. Bajrang Agrawal
Founder • 1997 — Present
Saw the gap in Bihar's optical retail market in 1997 and built the retail foundation the group still stands on. Anchoring the brand on Nala Road, Patna, Mr. Bajrang Agrawal transformed eyewear from a mere utilitarian purchase into a service defined by clinical trust and quality.
Later, he steered the group's strategic entry into government procurement and healthcare supply, demonstrating that family-run businesses can meet rigorous public sector standards.

Mr. Aayush Agrawal
Managing Director • 2014 — Present
Joined the family business in 2014 to modernize operations with advanced optical diagnostics, then built out seven newer verticals: events and media, civil construction, Chasma99.com D2C eyewear, Worklime manufacturing, Sora House hospitality, and advisory.
A staunch intrapreneur, several of these businesses were bootstrapped independently without family capital — proving capability, winning state and central government tenders, and building national brand equity.
Core Focus Areas:
The Four Cornerstones of Agrawal Group
Public Welfare First
Prioritizing public emergency relief and medical necessity ahead of commercial gain, demonstrated during the peak of COVID-19 by air-lifting PSA oxygen plants.
Category Creation
Introducing world-class branded eyewear, specialized DOOH media, and specialty pour-over coffee to Bihar rather than merely following existing market trends.
Bootstrapped Rigor
Expanding new verticals on internal cash flow and operational discipline, requiring each company to earn its own clients and sustain its unit economics.
Multi-Tier Reliability
A service-first reputation across state departments, Indian Railways, PSUs, hospitals, and end-consumers who have trusted the family name since 1997.
